Beautiful bisque, two tiny teeth and precious tongue. He is called a "breather" as the breathing holes of his nose are actually sculpted to appear to breathe. He is sure to be very welcome by the little girls in your cabinet, and he looks as if he can hardly wait.

This angelic bundle of joy is totally irresistible to say the least. Two tiny teeth, and a tip of her tongue peeps out of her exquisitely painted mouth and her bisque is flawless. Her corn flower blue eyes are further enhanced by the precious old bonnet. She wears darling crochet booties, a gift from grandma, but the old nightie and embroidered slip are vintage. I have yet to see a Hilda that wasn't pretty, but this little darling is something special.

Edison Phonograph Doll (Simon Halbig 719)

Absolutely gorgeous and rare. A magnificent example, important historical doll. Circa 1890. Head marked proper S12H 719 DEP. She has huge brown stationary glass eyes, open mouth with 6 upper teeth, perfectly painted features including lush upper and lower lashes. Her distinctive body has the Edison heavy weight tin torso, void of mechanism, along with wood and composition limbs. She retains her original wig, shoes (French Alart) and wonderful heavy black cotton socks. She wears a light blue silk and antique lace party dress with antique undies. Her head band of flowers completes the picture of this sweet girl. She has provenance that will go with her. An article 'The Edison Talking Doll- an Idea That Failed' written by her former owner, Yolanda M Simonelli, in Doll Reader June 1988. She was so intrigued with this doll that she visited the Edison National Historic Site & Archives in Orange, NJ, in 1984. In this fascinating article you will see this exact doll along with many photos and pictures from the museum itself. As a side note: two German companies produced the heads for the dolls, Simon Halbig and Bahr Proschild. This edition of Doll Reader will go along with the doll and also her permit to the Edison National Historic site.

Circa 1860 China head. Body a very fine vintage replacement of the rare Lochman type, with articulated knees, and exquisitely done leather arms. Perfect high quality shoulder head with exposed ears magnificently painted. Her dress and undies are original, the apron like guimpe over her original dress, and undies, is beautifully made, my guess is by a loving grandmother. She wears her vintage heart with much presence. Just think of the aura she would give to a room.

She has her original cork pate and old wig, absolutely exquisite bisque and coloring, as well as spectacular deep blue eyes, and magnificent painting of her features. No repaint on her body, it is in its original finish. Her clothes in person will leave you speechless, magnificent old lace over vintage pink taffeta, her old burgundy velvet bonnet just the right touch. Her shoes are lovely replacements. Her red velvet pocketbook has a little note inside. On the clasp it says June 25th 1867.

Stunning Biedermeier Fashion China. Circa 1850's. Fine quality, German china. She still has her original fancy styled human hair wig. Her face is just exquisite. She has a solid domed bald head with a painted black area on top. Her head is fixed and attached to a shoulderplate, cloth body with lower china arms and lower china legs with wonderful unusual orange boots. Original undies and an antique bronze colored fashion gown that has such appeal. Judging by the bejeweled crown atop her head she must be of royalty.

Jointed at the shoulders and hips, original brown bobbed wig. What makes this baby so special is the modeling! Look at those chubby cheeks, dimpled hands, detailed fingers and toes, undeniably a healthy plump baby. Wonderful rarer all bisque baby wears a vintage blue with white polka dot romper, and an adorable bonnet.

She has been in a collection for almost 40 years, you can understand why just looking at her.

Spectacular French Raynal Child. Rarely found in this size, and in such pristine original condition. Beautifully molded head, painted in the Lenci Style circa 1920's. Regional costume of light blue and black felt, some tiny holes in the blue felt. Absolutely charming! One family owner who has treasured her all her life since receiving her as a special gift from her Aunt that lived in France. As you can see she is truly glorious especially in this condition.

Simply perfect without flaw, due to the fact that she has been under glass for most of her life. Open mouth with 4 tiny little teeth, very fine decoration, and gorgeous amber colored glass eyes surrounded by finely drawn lashes and brows. Black high stockings past the knee with painted brown double strap shoes. She carries her little brown basket. A little Gem!

Breathtakingly beautiful, one of the loveliest Le Petit Parisien's we have ever seen. Combination of her clothes and exquisite face are undeniably magical. Her clothes are truly a work of art; the lace skirt with pleated velvet ribbon is stunning. The artful way they handled the skirt and the matching lace jabot is undeniably gorgeous. She wears antique undies, antique shoes and a fantastic old matching chapeau. Spectacular antique wig that matches her eyebrows perfectly!

This totally enchanting, pixie like little Gem is a mold number that tugs at your heart. Flawless bisque, and superb coloring, and spectacular artful painting. Note the brows and lashes. Her antique clothes of white lawn, with rows of pin tucking and lace at the hem, and tiny organdy flower medallions on the bodice, are sheer perfection rivaled by her spectacular flower bedecked straw chapeau. She has her original undies, as well as original shoes and socks. Her darling chubby toddler body is in its original finish, what a love!

She has original Steiner purple pate, old tailed blonde mohair wig, perfectly working sleep eyes and the more sculpted ear with canal dating her to 1888. Her lovely pull string voice box body is marked Le Petit Parisian and of course her wonderfully articulated wrists with banana style fingers. She is everything she is supposed to be. Her face so adorable you won't put her down.

What a fantastic girl, she has it all. Gorgeous blue paperweight eyes with mauve blushing below perfectly feathered brows. Open mouth with signature square teeth, two upper and one lower, with a delightful hint of a smile. Pierced ears with antique jet black earrings to match her outfit. She is marked 102 on back of her head. She wears what looks to be an all original cotton pique ecru dress and jacket. The matching jacket is edged with black velvet and matching ties. She has antique undies and a matching black velvet hat trimmed with black silk and a wonderful delicate antique cluster of matching flowers. Her superb robust body is generously blushed. Chest, elbows, tops of hands, knees and even her belly button! Just look at her painted boots and huge chunky calves, epitome of what we adore in a wrestler. She will come with her red little basket and very sparse original wig.

Blampoix Fashion Poupee, with patented inset glass eyes. Circa 1860, not easily found outstanding example of this fixed china shoulder head, on a high quality pristine gusset-jointed French kid body. Her cobalt blue glass enamel eyes are softly outlined, her facial coloring spectacular. Under her walking suit, pristine undergarments undisturbed from the factory. Blampoix was known for producing luxury items and this poupee is the epitome of luxury. She is utterly eye candy.

Surely an early doll, so small yet such presence. Her coloring is gorgeous; her bisque perfect, her tiny original Kestner body is jointed at the thigh and knee. Her hands still have red lines delineating her fingers. She wears an antique dress made of silk with ruffled bottom outlined in lace to die for. Teeny tiny vintage white leather shoes and an adorable matching straw hat. Truly a little gem.

Delicately painted multistroke eyebrows, fine lashes and the most wonderfully painted closed mouth. Her body sculpting is exceptional. Hands cupped and feet so detailed. She should be displayed in the buff. She wears cream satin dress with pink ribbon detail, undies, and an antique pink hat with lace. This rare all bisque is exceptional.

Type fat chunky body, Head marked 11. Circa 1900. Huge blue sleep eyes with most of her original mohair lashes, lower painted lashes, raised brows, outstanding bisque and coloring. Open mouth with 4 upper teeth. The faces on the DEP's are just so endearing, one of our favorites. She looks like a shy sweet little French girl. Replaced auburn human hair wig that matches her brows. Gorgeous clothes made from antique fabrics, old undies, and an antique straw bonnet.

Fully marked Depose, Tete Jumeau size 4. Enormous blue paperweight eyes, gorgeous painting and bisque. She has a special look, not the usual, her eyes are so huge you will do a double take!! A little dream girl! She has her fully jointed, marked, untouched Jumeau body. She is a vision in her spectacular aqua satin French dress with lace and trimmed to a tee. Original matching slip and undies that peek out beneath her hemline, down to her tiny white antique shoes. Just darling!

25 inches of total magnificence, super rare wood bodied "Poupee Bois". Spectacular Portrait Jumeau French Fashion spent her life in sumptuous royal splendor. Her exceptional body is totally flexible with multiple joints on her arms and legs. Her stand was crafted especially for her and is responsible for the regal stance. She was costumed by Jim Fernando, a nationally known doll expert and costumer in a luscious deep brown satin, with blue embroidered flowers and exceptional pale ecru lace. Touches like the faux diamond comb atop her original full gorgeous wig, cork pate, antique beaded bag and beautiful antique slippers. Her bisque is exceptional as well as her incredibly well painted features and huge bulbous blue paperweight eyes. A face to die for.
